Public Holidays in Myanmar for 2019
There is a total of 30 holidays in Myanmar, and it is now a sovereign state in South Asia. About 4/5th of this country follows Buddhism.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar’s government is the one responsible for announcing the annual list of holiday dates, and non-working public holidays.

How are Businesses in Myanmar During Holidays
The working hours must not exceed eight hours a day or 44 hours in a week. For work that needs to be continuously done, it must not be more than 48 hours per week. They are entitled to have a 30-minute break after working for five hours. The combined working hours and interval time must not be more than ten hours per day. Working days must not be only a maximum of six days a week.
If the employee is required to work on a Sunday, it must be substituted by another day. In case of overtime is necessary, it must not be more than 16 hours a week. If it is continuous, the maximum is only 12 hours. The overtime wage is double the basic wage.
Authorization of the Factories and General Labor Law Inspection Department must be gotten by getting the endorsement of an arrangement for steady additional time.
The Leave and Holidays Act (1951) has mandated at least one day off every week with pay, and ten days of paid leave a year. Employees are entitled to six days of paid casual leave every year.

There is no entitled to unpaid holidays for employees, but employers should provide employees with no paid time off so they can attend funerals if they have exhausted all their paid leaves.
