Multi-day Holiday
In Azerbaijan, there are public holidays that are celebrated for more than one day. These multi-day holidays can last as long as five working days plus two weekends on each end, making it a nine-day public holiday. By law, employees are entitled to one day off for multi-day holidays except for Novruz holiday, where employees are allowed two days off.
